History
Mtsensk automobile enterprise began with an autorot, which was redeployed there in the spring of 1952 by order of Moscow. At that time, the author's fleet totaled 38 cars. A few years later their number was increased to 120.
In 1958, the first buses arrived in Mtsensk. The movement of buses along city lines begins. The first route went from the station to the central part of the city.
The main buses of the 80-90s were LiAZ-677. In the 1990s, Ikarus buses could already be seen in the city. The last batch of large buses arrived in the city in the late 1990s. These were new buses: several Ikarus-263.10 and 1 Ikarus 280.33M.
With the new century, the bus situation in the city began to change. Large buses began to be actively written off giving way to buses of medium capacity PAZ-3205. In 2009, the last large Ikarus buses operating in the city, including the only "accordion", were decommissioned.
Since July 2019, payment for travel with contactless credit cards, as well as smartphones with the function of Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay, are available in all Mtsensk city buses. The project is jointly implemented with the Regional Information Center of the Oryol Region .
