Notes
- The first of six victories of Ayrton Senna in Monaco. Also, his victory was the first for a car with an active suspension .
- Christian Danner is expelled from the Grand Prix after the accident with Michele Alboreto . During the practice, they collided and the Italian Ferrari caught fire. This is the first case of exclusion of the racer from the Grand Prix.
