Under the guidance of Professor Zhukovsky, many complex issues have been developed related to the features of the clinic, the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the endocrine system in children. The textbook “Pediatric Endocrinology” under his editorship has withstood several reprints [2] .

Numerous scientific works of Mikhail Alexandrovich Zhukovsky and his employees reflected the features of the functional state of the adrenal cortex in the norm and in diseases, thyroid pathology , the clinical manifestations and features of the treatment of diabetes mellitus in children, the problems of gonadal dysgenesis and pituitary diseases were elaborated .

Contribution to the development of science

Mikhail Alexandrovich Zhukovsky has written over 250 scientific papers and 16 monographs devoted to the problems of endocrinopathies and diseases associated with metabolic disorders. Under his leadership, over 45 candidate and doctoral dissertations were completed , which reflected the issues of pathogenesis , diagnosis , clinical presentation and treatment of diseases of the endocrine glands and metabolic pathology [1] .
