Ala-Torasjärvi or Ala-Tarasyarvi is a lake in Russia , in the Suojärvi district of Karelia [2] .

General information
The surface area of the lake is 1.7 km², the catchment area of the reservoir is 999 km². The Tarasyoki River flows through the lake [3] . There are 12 islands on the lake, the river flowing through it communicates with two neighboring lakes: Ilya-Tarasjärvi located upstream and Kaitayärvi located downstream. The closest town of Toivola is located on the shores of Lake Kaitoyarvi [2] , through which the A132 Suoyärvi – Yustozero regional road passes .
