Career
The football career of Nikola Leali originates in the Brescia club. Already at the age of 16 he made his debut for Club Primavera. In the 2009/10 season, Leali was awarded the title of Best Goalkeeper of the Championship Primaver. By that time, he was already the first goalkeeper of the youth team of Italy . In the 2010/11 season, after leaving the “Brescia” main goalkeeper Matteo Sereni , Leali made a debut in Serie A : on May 15, 2011, he entered the starting lineup for the match with Cesena , which ended in the defeat of his club with a score of 0: 1 [2] . The next season, 2011/12, which Brescia had already played in Serie B , Leali begins as the team's main goalkeeper. In the second part of the championship, Nicola gives way to the first Brescia goalkeeper to experienced Michele Arkari, but Leali attracted the already great attention of Serie A teams, including Juventus , Milan , Catania , as well as the Portuguese Sporting . Thanks to his playing qualities, Leali acquired the status of “ Buffon 's heir” [3] .
July 3, 2012 it was announced the transfer of Nicola to Juventus . Leali signed a contract with the Turin Grand until June 30, 2017 [4] .
