Air Mauritius was founded on June 14, 1967 by Air France , BOAC and the Government of Mauritius, with each structure receiving 27.5% of the ownership of the new carrier, the company was transferred to Rogers and Co. In 1995, Air Mauritius conducted an initial public offering of its shares on the Mauritius Stock Exchange.
