Biography
In 1932, Semyon Isaakovich invented and built a television installation, used for the first television experiments in Ukraine. In 1939 he defended his doctoral dissertation (topic "New methods for multiplexing the broadcasting range and modulation methods with increased efficiency"). A year later, in 1940, he became the head of the department "Receiving and transmitting equipment."
From 1945 until the end of his life, S.I. Tetelbaum led the laboratory of high-frequency currents at the Institute of Electrical Engineering (now the Institute of Electrodynamics) of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR , created with his active participation [1] .
In 1948, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR [2] .
Since 1958 , he was appointed executive editor of the journal Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR. Radio engineering ” (University Proceedings MVSSO USSR. Radio engineering).
In the KPI, he gave lecture courses, among them: “Radio Transmitting Devices”, “Television”, “Fundamentals of Radar”, etc.
