Company History

The 4sync app was created on July 9, 2011 and was formerly called 4shared Sync. In October 2011, the service was renamed to 4sync. In August 2014 in its blog, the company announced the transition to a paid model of the service. [1] (inaccessible link)

Usage

When you install the application, a 4Sync folder is created in the "My Documents" section, which looks and functions like a standard Windows folder. When installing 4Sync on other operating systems, Mac or smartphones, you can access files directly through a web application.
