Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Church is a wooden Orthodox church located in the village of Barabanovo, Krasnoyarsk Territory . The Church of St. Paraskeva in Barabanovo is recognized as an architectural monument and is one of the masterpieces of wooden architecture not only in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but throughout Siberia. History
Barabanovsky Paraskevievsky parish was opened in 1854. By 1857, the one-throne church of St. Paraskeva was built. There were three villages in the Balabanovsky parish: Karymskaya in 8 versts, Shiverskaya in 6 versts, Dodonova in 2 versts (across the Yenisei river) [3] .
According to 1916, the clergy consisted of a priest and a psalm-reader. The priest's salary was 400 rubles, the psalmist's - 150 rubles. Revenues from demand corrections reached 450 rubles. in year. There were two clergy houses at the church - both dilapidated, cold and cramped. There was no arable land at the clergy, and hayfields with an area of 54 tithes are located beyond the Yenisei River 8 miles from the village. Church capital amounted to 1400 rubles, and clerical - 450 rubles [3] .
According to the residents of Barabanov, services in the church finally ceased in the late 1950s, then it was used as a grain warehouse, and later it was completely abandoned. A new stage in the history of the Church of St. Paraskeva began in 1986, and he is associated with the Krasnoyarsk summer school, school . In that year, the first Drum expedition of the School of Schooling took place - an attempt to counter the destruction of the monument. [four]
In the framework of the IX Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale in September 2011, the Polish artist Matei Andrazh Vogrinchich arranged a symbolic installation in the church building in Barabanovo. He laid her eggshell on the floor. During the preparation of the installation, the artist fell through a rotten floor and broke his leg. The day after the installation was opened, the eggshell on the floor of the church was crushed into powder [5] .
Church of st. Paraskeva is included in the list of objects of cultural heritage proposed for restoration according to the concept of the long-term target program “Preservation of objects of cultural heritage (historical and cultural monuments) of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for 2010-2020”, design and restoration work is scheduled for 2012-2015.
