Since 1840, there have been British postage stamps in Jersey.
On October 1, 1969, the Bailiwick Islands of Jersey gained postal independence.
Stamp Issues
First Marks
The first postage stamps with the inscription English. "Jersey" ("Jersey") were released locally during the occupation of the island by the Germans during the Second World War , in 1940-1945 [2] .
Regional issues
Subsequently, in Jersey, there were regional stamps of Great Britain , designed specifically for use in Jersey, but suitable for paying postage throughout the UK [2] . In particular, in the period from 1958 to 1969, regional brands were used here.
According to L. L. Lepeshinsky (1967) , a total of nine postage stamps for Jersey were issued in 1941-1963.
Own issues
Jersey issues its own postage stamps since October 1, 1969 [2] .
Since 2014, Jersey has also begun to produce stamps, a type of British printing machine brands used in postal machines [4] .

In 2012, the exposition, crowned with a large copy of the two-pound Jersey brand with a portrait of Elizabeth II, was awarded a silver gilded prize at the annual , organized by the Royal Horticultural Society . The creators of this composition, entitled “The Queen's Diamond Jubilee” , were members of the St. Helier , the capital of Jersey.
