It is part of the Voistom Village Council [3] .

Located in the eastern part of the district. The distance to the regional center of Smorgon by road is about 15.5 km, to the center of the village council of the agricultural town of Woistom in a straight line is a little more than 7 km. The nearest settlements are Zabolotye , Ostrovo , Uglany [4] . The area occupied is 0.0145 km², the length of the borders is 470 m [5] .

Title

The name suggests that the farm was based on a clearing - an open plot of land in a forest of natural or artificial origin [6] .

History

In 1865, Polyanka was listed as a dungeon in the Benitsa volost of the Oshmyany district of the Vilnius province and consisted of 2 revision souls . It was part of the Zalesie Oginsky estate [7] .

After the Soviet-Polish war , which ended with the Riga Treaty , in 1921, Western Belarus moved to the Polish Republic and Polyanka was included in the newly formed rural commune by the Wojst of the Sventsian Poveet of the Vilnius Voivodeship. On January 1, 1926, the commune of Wojstom was transferred to the Vileika County. [eight]

In 1938, Polyanka had 2 smoke (yard) and 10 souls [9] .

In 1939, according to a secret protocol concluded between the USSR and Germany , Western Belarus was in the sphere of interests of the Soviet state and the territory of the Red Army occupied its territory. The farm became part of the newly formed Smorgon district of the Vileika region of the BSSR . After the reorganization of the administrative-territorial division of the BSSR, the farm was included in the new Molodechno region in 1944. In 1960, due to the new organization of administrative-territorial division and the abolition of the Molodechno region, Polyanka became part of the Grodno region.
