Geographical position
Goult is located 36 km south-east of Avignon . Neighboring communes: Roussillon in the northeast, Lacoste in the southeast, Menerbes in the southwest, Oppedt and Bomet in the west, Saint-Pantaleon and Gordes in the northwest.
The commune is located in the center of the regional natural park Luberon . To the north of Gulta, the Vaucluse Mountains rise. In the vicinity there are numerous farms, of which the largest are Lumiere and Saint-Veran.

The territory of the commune is rich in rivers. It is crossed by Kalavon, Imerg , the tributary Imerga Rubin and the tributary Kalavon Riel .
