Angola

The language of Angkol is one of the Batak languages ​​of Indonesia . It is spoken in the northern part of Sumatra . Belongs to the Malay-Polynesian branch of the Austronesian languages . The closest language is the Batak Toba . However, Angkola has a milder pronunciation compared to the Toba. The phonology of the language is almost identical to the phonology of another Batak language - mandyling .
