Men's Volleyball Euroleague 2012

The 9th draw of the Euroleague Men's Volleyball - the international volleyball tournament among the men's national teams of the ECB member countries - was held from May 24 to July 1, 2012 with the participation of 10 teams. The final stage was held in Ankara ( Turkey ). The winner of the tournament for the second time in its history was the Netherlands team .

Draw System

The competition consisted of the preliminary and final stages. At the preliminary stage, 10 participating teams were divided into two groups. In groups, teams played on the tour system. In each of the rounds, four out of five teams took part in the group. The winners of the group tournaments, the best team from the runners-up and Turkey (the host of the finals) reached the final stage. The final stage was carried out according to the playoff system in the format of “final four” (two semi-finals and two finals - for 3rd and 1st places).

For victories with a score of 3: 0 and 3: 1, teams received 3 points, for victories 3: 2 - 2 points, for defeats 2: 3 - 1 point, for defeats 0: 3 and 1: 3 points were not awarded.
