Content
Story
The series tells the story of Dr. Jacob Hood. He is a specialist in biophysics, and during the series demonstrates amazing knowledge in other areas. Dr. Hood works for the FBI, investigating special “scientific crimes” associated with unexplained phenomena and the use of the latest technology. In his work, he applies his knowledge and scientific method to solve these crimes (in the name of science or justice).

- Dr. Jacob Hood ( Rufus Sewell ) is a smart, erudite, and slightly eccentric scientist who advises the FBI to help solve complex science-related issues. He sometimes seems strange, because of his distraction and social inability. The only thing known about Hood's past is that his wife died of cancer.
- FBI Special Agent Rachel Young ( Marley Shelton ) is Dr. Hood's assistant, as well as his bodyguard. She is forced to constantly pull Hood out of trouble, and also carries out his connection with other people and tries to minimize the damage from his rash actions. It is also known that she is not the first defender of the doctor. It is not known what happened to the previous ones.
