Seredinsky volost - volost in Volokolamsk district of Moscow province . It existed until 1929. The center of the volost was the village of Sereda .
According to the data of 1890, in the village of Sereda there was a volost government, apartments of the bailiff and police officer, a school, a district hospital and a postal station. Parish schools operated in the villages of Cherlenkovo and Levkievo [1] .
According to 1921, there were 23 village councils in the Seredinsky volost: Agryzkovsky, Artyomkovsky, Arkhangelsk , Bryukhanovsky, Vayutinsky, Dubronivsky, Dunilovsky, Zhitoninsky , Zadnevsky , Kosilovsky, Kosovsky, Kstilovsky , Kostinsky , Merklovsky , Nikolsky, Podsukhinsky , Simyankovsky , Panyukovsky , Sanyukovsky , Peredukinsky , Sanyukovsky , Panyukovsky , Falileevsky, Kholmetsky , Yakshinsky .
In 1924, Kurkinsky (separated from Dubronivsky) and Maksimovsky (separated from Zhitoninsky) were formed; Simankovsky s / s was abolished; Bryukhanovsky s / s was renamed Krivoselsky.
On March 24, 1924, most of the Kanaevsky volost was annexed to the Seredinsky s / s.
In 1925, by separation from Vayutinsky s / s, Cherlenkovsky s / s was formed. At the same time, Kurkinsky s / s was renamed Ramensky, Maksimovsky - to Fominsky, Zadnevsky - to Kukolovsky, Krivoselsky - to Bryukhanovsky, Kosovsky - to Pakhomovsky, Romantsevsky - to Fileninsky, Falileevsky - to Mikhalevsky. Novsky, Krutovsky , Dorsky , Zhuravikhinsky , Kanaevsky, Psovogorsky , Repotino-Gorsky , Simankovsky , Bolshe-Sytkovsky s / s were formed.
In 1926, Agryzkovsky s / s was renamed to Ivankovsky, Psovogorsky to Psovsky, Repotin-Gorsky to Repotinsky, Ramensky to Kurkinsky, Fileninsky to Romancevsky. At the same time, Yakshinsky (included in Bryukhanovsky), Cherlenkovsky (included in Vayutinsky), Krutovsky (included in Kosilovsky) and Novsky (included in Kstilovsky) s / s were abolished.
In 1927, Yakshinsky and B. Krutovsky s / s were formed. In 1929, Kanaevsky and Repotinsky s / s were merged into Kanaevsko-Repotinsky s / s [2] .
During the reform of the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in 1929, the Seredinskaya volost was abolished, and its territory became part of the Shakhovsky district .
