It is located 22 km south of the city of Torzhok , on the Krapivka River. The highway " Torzhok - Vysokoe - Bernovo - Staritsa " runs through the village.

History
Previously, the village was called the village of Bogorodskoe or Bogoroditskoe .
The list of populated areas of the Tver province for 1859 [2] shows the owner village Bogorodskoye (23 inhabitants) and the village of Mlevichi (52 inhabitants). The village was located on the Torzhok-Staritsa postal road, on the left bank of Krapivni (Krapivka). Seltso (estate) Mlevichi - beyond the river. In Bogorodsky (at the beginning of the 20th century, the village is called Bogorodskoye-Mlevichi ) - the Znamenskaya Church, built in 1771, a gilded cross was erected on the dome of the church in 1876, at the top of which a gilded crown was strengthened in memory of Alexander I , who was here passage. In 1873, the Mlevichsky Zemstvo School was founded, the building of which was built by a peasant society.
In 1914, the villages of Krechetovo , Gusenitsy , Khlyshchevo , Staro-Simonkovo , Novo-Simonkovo , Zakhozhi , Kostino with a population of 1952 residents entered the Mlevitsky (Bogorodsky) parish of the Moshkovsky volost of Novotorzhsky uyezd .
In 1925, the last owners of the estate Mlevichi, Terentyev Ivan and Vasily were evicted. The property was transferred to the Mlevichi state farm organized here. Later in the main manor house was a rest house (until 1941).
In December 1941, the 628th Infantry Regiment of Lieutenant Colonel P. S. Galayko was based in the village, which was part of the 174th Infantry Division of the 29th Army of the Kalinin Front . The front line at this time passed 4 km from the Mlevichi. During the war, a military hospital was located in the manor house. Warriors who died from wounds in a hospital and died in battle were buried in a fraternal cemetery.
Before the war and after the orphanage number 1 was located in the estate (in the late 90s he moved to Mitino ).

In 1997, there were 34 farms in the village of Mlevichi, 74 inhabitants.

Attractions
The former manor complex (XVIII-XIX), the main house with an outbuilding (1840), the Znamenskaya church with a separate bell tower (1771), the house of the administrator, the outbuilding, the stable and the cowshed, the gate, the remains of 2 obelisks, the remains of a regular lime tree have been preserved park with artificial ponds (1840s), the building of the Zemstvo school (built in 1858).
The buildings were laid by the court adviser Ivan Antipovich Shishkov . At the beginning of the 20th century, the landowners Tsereteli , Tsylevy and a certain rich peasant Matvey Terentyev owned various shares of the Mlevichi. Until the early 2000s, a children's social institution was located in the main house, now it is real estate for sale.
