In 2007, among 1251 people of working age (15–64 years), 833 were economically active , 418 were inactive (the activity indicator was 66.6%, in 1999 it was 68.7%). Of the 833 active, 756 people worked (404 men and 352 women), 77 were unemployed (32 men and 45 women). - Ring circuit. It has a straight section 1.5 km long, the only one in Europe, which allows some Formula 1 teams to use it to test the aerodynamics of fireballs.
- Velodrome. One of the oldest in France, built in 1897. Regular races are held.

- Begen Castle. Ancient castle, rebuilt in the XIX century. The towers of the XV century have survived.
