The main problem of modern pedagogy, with which it still copes poorly, is the education of a creatively and morally developed personality. The reason for this is the lack of attention at school to the subjects of the art cycle, which are the only ones that can provide a solution to this problem ... I fully understand Kabalevsky, who devoted decades of his life to pedagogy, sacrificing his musical and creative projects to it. By the way, I consider Dmitry Borisovich the godfather of his pedagogical work - it was he who suggested that I seriously engage in the field of mass music education. My string quartet No. 2 is dedicated to the memory of Kabalevsky. [five]

Scientific and pedagogical activity

The field of scientific interests of I. M. Krasilnikov is related to the problem of the development of electronic musical creativity in the system of art education. On this subject, he has published over 240 scientific and methodological works.

At the training courses for teachers in the keyboard synthesizer and computer music studio classes conducted by I. M. Krasilnikov in 38 cities of Russia, several thousand art education workers were trained [6] :

The author’s method of introducing students to electronic musical creativity has proven its effectiveness and has become widespread in pedagogical practice. Classes and departments of the educational disciplines developed by Krasilnikov in music schools, art schools and other institutions of additional musical education began to open throughout the country. And today, based on the methodology of Krasilnikov, training is carried out in several thousand such institutions. [7]
The vast majority of teachers who conduct classes in the class of electronic instruments in Russia today are either students of I. M. Krasilnikov or students of his students. [eight]
In addition to composition, I. Krasilnikov pays a lot of attention to the problems of introducing electronic musical creativity into mass music education. He is the author of many, many articles on this subject. Under his editorship, a “Program” was created for learning how to play the synthesizer for music educational institutions. [9]

For his great contribution to the development of domestic musical culture and pedagogy, I.M. Krasilnikov was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2011), Certificate of Honor of the Russian Academy of Education (2012), and the Gold Medal of the Union of Moscow Composers (2012 .), as well as Certificates of Honor of the leadership of the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University, Culture Directorates of various regions of Russia and other relevant organizations.

Performing Art

I.M. Krasilnikov performed solo concerts of piano music in Moscow , Berlin , Halle and other cities. He recorded a large number of works of composers of the XX century in the radio fund in Moscow and a CD of piano music in Berlin

Krasilnikov’s performing skills combine the grace of pianism, the refined manner of intoning with brilliant virtuoso technique, the power of sonority, and endless gradations of expressiveness. The interpretation of the works performed by him is striking in its deep interpretation of the figurative and poetic sphere of the work, the philosophical reading of the composer's intention, and concentration. [14]

I. M. Krasilnikov also performs with author concerts of music for the keyboard synthesizer.

Composer

I. M. Krasilnikov is the author of 45 opuses of musical works - orchestral , chamber , vocal , choral .

The works of composer Krasilnikov are characterized by vivid emotionality, relief of musical images, soulful melody that reaches the heart and remains in memory. His composer's style is characterized by masterful use of the richest resources of musical expressiveness of our time, where the musical language combines both innovative trends and an organic fusion of the traditions of the long history of music. [15]
The multifaceted work of the composer Igor Mikhailovich Krasilnikov organically fits into the culture of modernity. But at the same time his music - inspired, as if "nostalgic" for better times - lives as if out of time. Apparently, composing it, the author did not think about short-term fashion trends, but thought about the eternal ... [16] [17]
There are few composers who speak in their own voice, and Igor Krasilnikov is one of them ... “We showed a concert in two sections with different compositions by one composer, and they are all very worthy,” N.N. said after one of the concerts. Nekrasov / People's Artist of the USSR, Professor /. - I think that these compositions will certainly be included in the repertoire of the Russian folk orchestra. The next generations of musicians will certainly turn to the work of I. Krasilnikov. I am convinced of that. ” [18]
Listening to the vivid graphic works of the author, you understand that I.M. Krasilnikov is a successor to the Russian traditional composer school and such masters as the composers of The Mighty Handful, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov and A.K. Lyadov. He is a wonderful melodist. The newly heard melodies are immediately remembered and then arise in the memory, uplifting. I want to say about I.M. Krasilnikov that he is an excellent toolkeeper. He knows and feels the soul of every instrument. From this arises a feeling of harmony, beauty, fullness and diversity in each work. [nineteen]
The author’s symphonic thinking determines the thoroughness of the elaboration of details and gives the sound of a folk orchestra depth and diversity. A sophisticated modern language using variable sizes, dissonances individualizes the sound, without making it any harder. Even the use of the synthesizer in “Fads” (performed by the author) does not create the impression of alienness. The "Symphonietta on Russian Themes" in 4 parts gives you the opportunity to hear not only the traditional groups of the orchestra, but also multiple solo parts - gusli, harmonics or double basses. You are convinced that the composer knows the orchestra thoroughly and gives him the opportunity to perform at the limit of artistic possibilities - from brilliant, bright, enchanting sound to an exquisitely soft, bright, exciting soul. [20]

The works of I. M. Krasilnikov are the subject of scientific analysis:

In symphoniette I.M. Krasilnikova presented an original example of the organic interaction of folklore and the invariant features of the symphony genre. Using the expressive capabilities of a large orchestra of Russian folk instruments, the features of modern musical shaping, the composer realized the optimistic concept of hope for a brighter future — in the unity of man and nature.
