Biography
Born on June 12 ( 25 ) 1911 in Nosovka (now Chernihiv region , Ukraine ). He studied at KGHI (1929-1933) and LAH (1936-1943). In Leningrad, S. Shishko came to the workshop of Professor B. V. Ioganson , a famous artist and teacher.
In 1944 he moved to Kiev , in the same year he became a member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR . For about 40 years, Shishko created the Kyiv Suite series, which included over 100 paintings and sketches. In Kiev, Shishko paints pictures - “On the Kiev Krugs” ( 1944 ), “Babiy Yar” ( 1945 ), “Kievskaya Dal” ( 1964 ), “Flowering Chestnuts” ( 1957 ), “Khreshchatyk” ( 1976 ) and others. [2 ]
He died on April 26, 1997 . He was buried in Kiev at the Baikov Cemetery .
