Biography

Dmitry Mikhailovich Chuprov was born on May 10, 1978 [2] . The pupil of the Kurgan chess school, coach Alexei Pugachev [3] [4] . Champion of Russia among athletes under 16 years old (1993). Winner of the World Olympics in the composition of the junior team of Russia (1993). In 1994, he won the Kremlin Cup tournament.

After moving to permanent residence in Tobolsk , he became a multiple champion of the Tyumen region, winner and medalist of the Ural Federal District championships, bronze medalist of the Russian and European club championship teams, and a medalist at several stages of the National Cup and major international tournaments.

In 2011 he returned to Kurgan , worked as a trainer in the regional school for children and youth [5] .

Dmitry Mikhailovich Chuprov died suddenly on September 14, 2012 . He was buried in Kurgan at the new Ryabkovsky cemetery [6] .
