Aksan Baimurzich Mukhametkulov (there are other var. Spellings named after Akhsan Baimurzovich , Bashk. Әkhsn Baimyrҙa uly Mөkhәmmәtҡulov ; 1895 - 1938 ) - the Bashkir Soviet statesman. Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Bashkir ASSR ( 1925 - 1930 ), member of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR [1] ( 1935 - 1938 ).

Biography
Mukhametkulov Aksan Baimurzich was born on October 17, 1895 in the village of Makarovo of the Sterlitamak district of the Ufa province (now Ishimbay district of Bashkortostan ).
In 1912 - 1914 studied in a 2-class school. He participated in the First World War .
In 1918 - 1921 - Chairman of Girey-Kichak, Makarov Volost Executive Committees. He was a member of the collegium of the People’s Commissariat for Food of the Autonomous Bashkir Soviet Republic.
In 1920 he joined the ranks of the RCP (b) .
In 1922 - 1925 - Chairman of the Mesyagutovsky canton executive committee. He was first deputy commissar, and then people's commissar of agriculture of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .
In 1925 - 1931 - Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Bashkir Republic.
In 1931 - 1933 - Student of the All-Union Planning Academy.
In 1933 - 1938 worked in the Kazakh SSR . He was a member of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR. In 1935, he worked as chairman of the city executive committee of the city of Aktyubinsk .
Repressed as a "Bashkir nationalist . " On November 15, 1937, the NKVD was arrested. On November 11, 1938, he was sentenced to death under article 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (paragraphs 2,7,8, 11). Later, the execution was replaced by 11 years in prison. Further fate was unknown for many years. Gizitdin Irgalin in the encyclopedic article cites the following death data on November 14, 1938 , Alma-Ata
Rehabilitated posthumously June 27, 1957 [2] .
Memory
In order to perpetuate the name of A. B. Mukhametkulov, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Bashkortostan approved Decree of January 18, 1996 No. 16 “On perpetuating the name of a prominent statesman of Bashkortostan A. B. Mukhametkulov” [3] .
- A museum of Akhsan Mukhametkulov operates in the village of Makarovo.
- The name in the name of A. B. Mukhametkulov is the street in the Kuzminovka microdistrict of the city of Ishimbay .
