Cadne is located 55 km southeast of Avignon . Neighboring communes: Lurmarin in the north, Cucuron in the northeast, Ansouis in the east, Villelor in the southeast, La Roque d'Anteron in the southwest, Lori and Puyver in the northwest.

Along the southern border of the commune, Durance flows. In addition, the territory of the commune is crossed by its tributary Aig-Bran .

- The ruins of the castle.
- Beffroix , erected in 1879, replacing the former Romanesque beffroy of 1500.
- Church of Saint-Etienne, built in the XII-XVI centuries.
- Primeval dwelling in the upper city. In the 16th century there was a refuge for the local tribe of Vodua. Housing was occupied until 1960.
