List of the largest urban agglomerations in terms of passenger traffic

Below is a list of the world's largest metropolitan areas according to the total passenger flow through all airports of each metropolitan area.

The world's busiest airport is Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport - Atlanta's only airborne harbor, but the largest passenger flow in 2010 was registered through the London metropolitan area, with six civilian airports operating commercial flights.
