Biography
Orthodox. From hereditary nobles. The son of Major General Yakov Konstantinovich Kolzakov , who was shot in Pyatigorsk in 1918. According to his father, the great-grandson of Admiral P. A. Kolzakov and General J. Ya. Gillenchmidt .
At the end of the Page Corps, in 1906 he was released as a second lieutenant to the guards equestrian artillery brigade . On January 1, 1910 - in the same rank in the same brigade. Later he went into the reserve of field horse artillery with the rank of headquarters captain.
With the outbreak of World War I , the Horse Artillery was drafted into the Life Guards. Granted by St. George's Arms

April 26, 1916 promoted to captain . He was appointed commander of the 2nd Battery of the Life Guards of Equestrian Artillery, on April 2, 1917 he was promoted to colonel for a vacancy, with approval in office.
Participated in the White movement as part of the Northwest Army . In March 1920, he was an authorized liquidation commission of the NWA in Narva .
He stayed in Estonia , served as a logging contractor, owned the Aru farm in the Lechtsi parish. He was a member of the Estonian Division of the Page of the Union. In December 1940, after Estonia joined the USSR , the NKVD was arrested. On May 22, 1941, by a decision of the tribunal, he was sentenced to be shot, replaced by 10 years of imprisonment in the ITL and 5 years of defeat in his rights.
