Included in the Vysokovsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 9, 2009 was the center of the Mitinsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - the center of the Mitinsky Village Council.
The distance to the regional center of the Ustya on the highway is 17 km, to the center of the Municipal Formation High in a straight line - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Zalesye , Kobelevo , Makarino .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 131 people (62 men, 69 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (98%) [3] .
