Former Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR . Despite the fact that it was not formally a military academy, it was included in the list of military academies of the USSR Armed Forces [1] .

History

  • 1929 - Higher advanced training courses for senior commanding officers of the administrative-police apparatus and higher penitentiary courses are created.
  • Since 1937 - Central Police School of the NKVD of the USSR .
  • Since 1943 - Higher School of the NKVD of the USSR.
  • From March 1946 - the Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, from November - the Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR .
  • Since June 1952 - Graduate School of Advanced Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. In August, disbanded.
  • Since March 1953, the Higher Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR has been called.
  • 1954 - The Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR was organized on the basis of the Higher School of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. From 1960 to 1965, branches were established in Leningrad, Kiev, Alma-Ata, Minsk, Tashkent, Omsk, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk.
  • 1974 - The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR was created (since January 1992 - the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia).
  • January 8, 1997 - The Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was established .
  • 1981, April - The Academy was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
