Georgy Dmitrievich Melsky (born August 21, 1946 , Oak Maharintsy ) is a Soviet and Ukrainian actor , director , singer, people's artist of Ukraine . Artistic director of the Kiev Jewish Theater-Studio Mazltov .

Biography
Born on August 21, 1946 in Oak Maharintsy . In childhood, he moved to Kiev . He graduated from the Kiev Music and Pop School (vocals, percussion instruments) and the Khabarovsk Institute of Arts (directing). Until 1982, he worked as an engineer at a factory, playing in various restaurants in the evenings.
Since 1982, Georgy Dmitrievich Melsky, was an actor and one of the leaders of the Jewish show of the Freylekhs group, and in 1988 he created the Mazltov Jewish Theater in Kiev. As a director, he performed theatrical performances in various genres (drama, opera, ballet, musical, chamber music programs), and was also one of the leading actors of the theater.
Currently lives and works in Moscow.
