Thomas M. Lane was born on September 19, 1994 in Chardon, Ohio , USA . He grew up quite a calm child. The murder weapon was a 22-gauge semi-automatic Ruger Mk III pistol . The investigation established that the weapon along with the ammunition was stolen by a teenager from his uncle on February 26, 2012. Also at the time of the crime, Thomas Lane had a knife.
