Geography

The farm is located in the dry steppes in the northern part of the Levokumsky region within the Caspian lowland , at an altitude of about 19 meters above sea level [3] . The terrain is flat, complicated by micro-and meso-relief forms: hillocks, hillocks and depressions, in which salt marshes are located [3] . Complex soil cover: light chestnut solonetsous and solonchak soils and salt licks (automorphic) are common [4]

On motor roads, the distance to the regional center of the city of Stavropol is 330 km, to the district center of the village of Levokumskoe - 73 km, to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village of Turksad - 26 km [5] .

History

Founded in 1850 [7] Turkmen herdsmen who worked on the estate of Prince Musa Aji [8] . According to the census of 1926, 48 people lived in the Arbali farm, of which 43 Great Russians , 5 Kalmyks . At the time of the census, the farm belonged to the Velichayevsky Village Council of the Levokumsky District of the Terek District of the North Caucasus Territory [9] .

For March 1, 1966 was a part of the territory of the Priozersk village council with the center in the village of Priozersk [10] .
