Philippine thick-billed parrot [1] ( lat. Bolbopsittacus lunulatus ) is a bird of the parrot family. The only species of the genus.

Appearance
Body length 16 cm. The color of the plumage is green, on the neck there is a strip of light blue hue. The lumbar region has a yellowish tint. Cheeks, bridle, throat and area near the eyes of a bluish tint. Females have a yellow stripe with black strokes on their neck; the blue color is only on the bridle and under the cheeks. The tail is short, slightly longer than the third part of the wing, the shape of the tail is rounded. The beak is very thick, blackish in color, the fennel is not feathered.
Distribution
It lives on the Philippine and nearby islands.
