Saint-Ann-de-Beaupré ( French Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré ) is a city in the district of La Cote de Beaupré in the Canadian province of Quebec . Located on the north bank of the St. Lawrence River , 35 km northeast of the city of Quebec , about 5 km east of the Chateau Richet and 5 km west of Bopre . According to the 2006 census, the city's population was 2,803.

Tourism
The city is extremely popular among Catholic pilgrims, including from Europe, thanks to the St. Anne's Basilica built in it. Other tourist attractions arose around the basilica, associated with the cult of St. Anne , including the Museum of St. Anne and Cycloram, depicting Jerusalem from the time of Jesus Christ.
Around the city, located at the foot of the Laurentian mountains , agritourism is developed. In its vicinity there are several wineries, a private brewery.
Attractions are the canyon of St. Anne with a large waterfall, located 6 km east of the city and a nature reserve at Cape St. Titus.
