It is part of the Beketovsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 9, 2009 it was the center of the Punemsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the center of the Punemsky rural council.
The distance to the district center of Vozhega by road is 79 km, to the center of the Beketovskaya municipality in a straight line - 19 km. The nearest settlements are Nikulskaya , Kropufinskaya , Pokrovskaya , Andreevskaya , Kuritsino , Filatovskaya .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 8 people [3] .
