In 1981 graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics of the Yerevan Agricultural Institute.

Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Professional activities

  • In 1981-1988. worked at the Research Institute of Agricultural Automation.
  • 1988 Gosplan, then Assistant Deputy Prime Minister in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. Then Sergey Manasaryan was an assistant to the prime minister of Armenia, the head of the prime minister’s administration, the secretary-minister of the government.
  • 1996 - RA MFA, Deputy Foreign Minister.
  • In 1999-2005. was ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Concurrently, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Morocco, Libya, Ethiopia, Sudan and Oman.
  • 2005-2010 Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Bulgaria.
  • 2010-2016 - Deputy Foreign Minister.
  • February 10, 2016 By the decree of the President of Armenia, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to China.
