Dorida ( ancient Greek Δωρίς ) is a small (about 200 square kilometers) mountainous region in Central Greece [1] , between the arrays of Eta and Parnassus , bordering on Etholia , Phocis and both Locrids and irrigated by the upper course Kefissa and its tributary Pindom . Originally called Driopida ( Δρυοπίς ) by the driops inhabiting it. The latter were ousted at the end of the 2nd millennium BC. er Dorians [1] , who founded four small cities here (the so-called Dorian quadrupograd, Τετράπολις ) - Fight , Kitiny Rusk , Eriney and Pind .

During the Fokid and Macedonian wars, the cities of Dorida were often destroyed, and during the Roman rule they were already devoid of any significance.
