Archbishop of Genoa from March 17, 1938 to January 31, 1946. Cardinal Deacon from December 16, 1935, titular deacon of Sant'Angelo in Pesqueria from December 19, 1935 to March 18, 1938. Cardinal priest pro hac vice with the title of Church of Sant'Angelo- in Pesqueria since March 18, 1938.
