History

During World War II, in the fall and winter of 1942, the surroundings of the Dydymkin farm became the site of fierce battles between the Nazi forces and the Red Army [4] [5] .

A sharp increase in the population of Dydymkin after 2002 occurred due to the appearance of correctional colony No. 6 in the village [7] . Most of the permanent residents are colony employees and members of their families, the rest of the population are prisoners [8] .
