Initially, the Ossetians- zaita lived in the farm (from the Ossetian tsay - “well”) [5] . At the end of the 19th century, migrants from the central provinces of the Russian Empire began to settle in the farm.
In 1926, 220 people lived in the farm. Of which Ukrainians were - 105 people, Ossetians - 101 people, others - 14 people [6] .
Today, the population of the farm is multinational, with a predominance of Meskhetian Turks , who at the end of the 1970s, unable to return to their historical region - Meskhetia (in the south of Georgia ), were settled in some regions of the North Caucasus, including various areas of the Stavropol Territory [7] .
