Geography
The village is located on the highway R-104 Uglich - Rybinsk , on the right bank of the Volga River downstream of the city of Myshkin for 15 kilometers.
History
The village has been known since the 15th century. Among the other 118 villages were donated by the princes Yukhotsky to the Yaroslavl Spassky Monastery , and, in Yeremeytsevo, there lived monastery elders who controlled the estate.
Many monastic acts are known about the village, including ten royal letters, beginning with the letter of Tsar Vasily Ivanovich and ending with the letters of John and Peter Alekseevich.
There were two churches in the village - the Church of the Intercession built in 1752 and the Church of the Nativity, built in 1797.
In 1860, 272 peasants lived here. [2]
