Biography

Born July 13, 1924 in a peasant family. Russian . He graduated from 7 classes and the school of FZU at the Khilok station. In the 1930s, the family moved to the city of Alexandrov [3] in the Vladimir Region . He graduated from the railway school and high school in Aleksandrov.

Great Patriotic War

In the ranks of the Red Army since August 12, 1942 . In March 1943 he graduated from the Vladimir Infantry School.

On the fronts of World War II from April 1943 . He participated in the Battle of Kursk , in the Belgorod-Kharkov and Poltava-Kremenchug offensive operations.

Guard Lieutenant Perfilyev Anatoly Alexandrovich was especially distinguished during the battle for the Dnieper . On the night of September 30, 1943, under enemy fire, his platoon with an advanced rifle battalion crossed to the right bank of the Dnieper in the vicinity of the village of Keleberda, Kremenchug district, Poltava region . Mortar launchers of Lieutenant Perfiliev with their fire supported the infantry during the capture of the bridgehead and its retention. On September 30 and October 1, 1943, a platoon of Lieutenant Perfiliev put down 4 firing points and exterminated up to 120 enemy soldiers and officers.

In one of the battles on September 30 at the site where the mortar platoon of Lieutenant A. A. Perfilyev was defending, the Germans launched an attack to the infantry battalion with the support of 7 tanks. The enemy managed to squeeze our rifle units and come close to the positions of the mortar. When the enemy was already 75-100 meters, the fighters of the Perfilyev platoon erected mortar shells almost vertically and continued to conduct accurate fire. When a group of enemy machine gunners bypassed the position of mortar, Lieutenant Perfiliev led his fighters in a counterattack. Mortar men broke into the ranks of the enemy and in hand-to-hand combat forced him to flee. At the scene of the hand-to-hand battle, 16 corpses of German soldiers remained, and the platoon commander personally destroyed the four Germans. In the battle on October 2, 1943, A.P. Perfiliev was seriously wounded.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 22, 1944, for the courage and heroism shown in the fight against the Nazi invaders, the guard, Lieutenant Perfiliev Anatoly Alexandrovich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal .

After the hospital, A. A. Perfiliev returned to duty in November 1943 . Guard Lieutenant A. A. Perfilyev went missing on March 10, 1944 during the Bereznegovato-Snigirevsky offensive operation on the 3rd Ukrainian Front in battles in the Elanetsky district of the Nikolaev region of the Ukrainian SSR .

Memory

  • Secondary schools in the city of Alexandrov and in the village of Kuzmadino, Vladimir Region, are named after the Hero.
  • The name of A. A. Perfilyev is a street in the city of Alexandrov.
  • A memorial plaque in memory of Perfiliev was erected by the Russian Military Historical Society on the building of secondary school No. 14 in Alexandrov, where he studied.
