History
The editors were established in 1957 by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR . The first team consisted of radio journalists and musicians who switched to television from the GDRZ . In addition to the invited artists, the editors had their own musical groups . In 1988 it was renamed to the Main Edition of music and entertainment programs. In the spring of 1992, the Ostankino Music and Entertainment Program Studio was established on its basis. It ceased to exist on March 15, 1996 after the closure of the Ostankino television and radio company.
