Avundy (sexton)

Avundy (died in 564 ) - sexton of the Cathedral of St. Petra in Rome , confessor . Memorial Day - April 14th .

The life of St. Avundius, who served as the sacristy in the Cathedral of St. Peter in Rome, is recorded by St. Gregory the Great , Pope of Rome. It marked the great spiritual gifts of St. Avundia. It is known that through the prayers of the saint, healing from gout occurred.
