Seaside is a railway station of the Sakhalin region of the Far Eastern Railway . It was named after the village of the same name , named, in turn, by its location near the Sea of Okhotsk .

History
The station was opened in 1926 as part of the launch site Dolinsk - Makarov .
Description
The station consists of six 1067 mm gauge tracks, all non-electrified. At the first path there is a low landing platform with a station and a small cargo yard.
Activities
According to the paragraph, the station is able to carry out small freight departures from warehouses and in open areas, as well as the sale of passenger tickets.
