Northern Region of the People's Republic of China
Northern China ( Chinese 华北 , Pinyin : Huáběi ) is a geographical area of China . The “heart” of North China is the Great Plain of China .
It is determined by the PRC government to include municipalities in Beijing and Tianjin , in the provinces of Hebei and Shanxi , as well as the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia . [ check translation ! ]
