Content
History
Opened in 1926 as part of the launch site Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Toyohara) - Kholmsk (Tei) . (Through movement opened in 1928 ), was called Ikenohata , as was the nearby village.
In 1946, it received its modern name in honor of the renamed village . Later on the platform was erected a monument to Sergeant Nikolaychuk, after whom the village was named.
In 1994, after the dismantling of the Nikolaychuk- Novoderevenskaya section, the stopping point became final on a low-density branch.
Description
It is a low-capacity stopping point on a single-track dead-end branch to which the train arrives. According to requests from the platform, truckers are transported to the adjacent summer cottages to a dead-end prism at the beginning of the tunnel for 74 km of the former Kholmsk - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk line .

Activity
As of October 2016, the platform serves 3 pairs of suburban diesel trains Kholmsk-Severny - Nikolayachuk.
Perspectives
In the long term, the Nikolaychuk platform together with the adjacent branch is planned to be included in the planned nature and technology reserve on the basis of the former Kholmsk - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk railway [1]
