History
Botsmanska Street was named on December 29, 1972 in a series of nearby streets, named "in honor of the glorious sailors of the Baltic Fleet" in a number of other streets, whose names reflect the positions of the navy [1] .
According to the Toponymic Encyclopedia of St. Petersburg, travel has actually existed since 1999 [1] , but in reality it existed earlier. On October 8, 2007, the Toponymic Commission made a clarification according to which Botzmanskaya Street passes not just from Korablestroiteley Street to Morskaya Embankment, but from Korablestroiteley Street to Baltic Fleet Square, which finally assigned this name to this passage. However, the buildings with an address on this street did not appear.
