Blockade - a medical procedure to relieve muscle cramps. It is performed by a single injection of painkillers (eg lidocaine , novocaine ) into the nerve plexuses (including epidural ) [1] .
The direct effect of painkillers on the nerve node is short-lived, however, the effect of changing the tone of spasmodic muscles can lead to a long-term improvement in the patient’s well-being, and in the treatment of teeth with dental abscesses , to a deterioration of the patient’s condition, up to an infection-toxic shock .
The procedure can be prescribed for various diseases of the spine, for example, with osteochondrosis .
