Biography
In 1983 he graduated from the Institute of Asian and African countries at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. He speaks Chinese and English .
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been working in the system since 1991. He held various diplomatic posts in the central apparatus of the Ministry and abroad (China, USA, Japan).
- In 2006-2009 - Advisor and Envoy of the Russian Embassy in China.
- In 2009-2011 - Director of the First Department of Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
Since December 2011 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation [1] .
On December 3, 2018, in accordance with the agreements reached by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe , he was appointed special representative at the negotiations on the conclusion of the Russian-Japanese peace treaty [2] .
