Biography
He graduated from the Paris Conservatory , a student of Leo Delibes . In 1888 he was awarded the Roman Prize for the opera “Wellleda”, in the same year he wrote another opera, “St. Julian the Stranopriemets,” the production of which in 1894 brought him fame. For some time he directed the choir in the Paris synagogue on Rue de Cournelles .

- Cinderella The ballet was staged in 1938 in the troupe of the Russian Ballet Colonel de Basil (choreographer - M. Fokin , in the main party - T. Ryabushinskaya ).
