Biography

Representative of an old Tiflis Armenian princely family. Born in the family of the future general Alexander Evseevich Betabekov and his wife - Ekaterina Ivanovna nee Sharoeva.

During the Russo-Turkish war (1877-1878) he was the captain of the 39th artillery brigade. For the difference in affairs on September 20 and 21 at the heights of B. Yagna and Aladzhi on November 26, 1878 he was awarded the Order of St. George IV degree: [1]

In the years 1884-1891, with the rank of lieutenant colonel, he served as a staff officer under the troops of the Caucasian Military District.

He died in 1893.
